Seasonal Reflections

Summer came to a quick close as Autumn made it's debut in one blast of windy air. I love fall, but somehow I feel sad saying good-bye to summer this year. We made such wonderful memories hiking as a family and enjoying the local river for a little wading on a hot summer day. We have now pulled out our candles, warm blankets, and thick sweaters. The temperatures have cooled down and we are embracing the cozy fall activities we all enjoy. I'm glad I am compelled to take pictures of candid moments like this one. These memories are now documented and next year when the kids are a year older, and a bit taller, I can still pull out the pictures of each year before and enjoy the memories from that time in our lives. What is your favorite season?
