Sunday Afternoon With My Daughter

This fabulous young lady is my fourth born daughter. Yesterday we managed to break away for a while along with my youngest son, and enjoy some fresh air and fall scenery in the beautiful valley we call home.  I brought my camera along to take some pictures of Christine because her school picture didn't turn out well, even after the retakes and we wanted her to have some pictures she likes. What a great afternoon we had together.

Christine and Levi enjoyed some time just being kids, while I was enjoying the surrounding farmland, and snapping pictures here and there.

They didn't know I was snapping some while they were relaxed and enjoying some sibling time.

Christine loves reading, especially classics.

At one point I was walking ahead of her. I turned around to say something to her and saw this:

We were having such a great time together, enjoying the fresh air, the beauty, and just being together. I kept stopping to capture one exquisite sight after another, and suddenly we were feeling sprinkles. We still had quite a hike ahead of us, so giggling and running, we stepped it up to head home. I couldn't resist stopping a few more times along the way to seize the opportunity to grab "one more" shot of the amazing shadows, and raindrops, and fall colors that were all around us. What memories we made, and although we were a tiny bit wet, and a little bit late getting home, it was well worth it.

  1. These pictures are simply stunning! I wish you lived closer and we could hire you to come take pictures. :)

  2. Thank you, Lisa. I wish we lived closer too. That would be so fun!
